1. Calling for a Women’s Revolution in the 21st century12 November 2022/MedyaNewsThe Kurdish women’s freedom struggle is nothing if not ambitious. Under the name Network Women Weaving the Future, it organised a conference of nearly 800 women from around the world calling for the establishment of Women’s World Democratic Confederalism, basically an extension of the Rojava revolution around the world. The conference took place in Berlin in the first weekend of November. Food was provided for free and those who could not afford accommodation were put up with Kurdish families, a heart-warming Kurdish tradition and a practice not seen in the British women’s movement since the early days of Women’s Liberation in the 70s and 80s.https://medyanews.net/calling-for-a-womens-revolution-in-the-21st-century/

November 2022/Women Defend Rojava
At about midnight on November 19, the Turkish state launched a large-scale aerial assault using dozens of military aircrafts and UAVs. In total 47 air raids, 20 UAV airstrikes, and 3761 attacks with heavy artillery, mortars, and tanks have been carried out against the regions of North and East Syria stretching from Dêrik on the Iraqi-Turkish-Syrian borders to Qamishlo, al-Hesekeh (50km far from the Turkish border), Kobanê, Deir Ezzor (70km far from the Turkish border), and even the areas of Shehba, 40 kilometers north of Aleppo city. The aerial bombardment focused on civilian infrastructure and service facilities. The Turkish army also conducted several double-tap strikes targeting civilian medics and journalists.
12. American aid volunteer David Eubank says Syrian Kurds feel even more betrayed by US in wake of Turkey’s most recent attacks
November 2022/Al Monitor
Turkey is threatening to mount a fresh ground assault against the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces in northeast Syria after a wave of airstrikes that left 11 civilians and numerous Kurdish fighters dead. US officials say they are trying to de-escalate the situation, but their Syrian Kurdish allies say Washington’s response has been weak and is unlikely to stave off another Turkish offensive. David Eubank, founder of the Free Burma Rangers, a volunteer group that assists civilians in conflict zones, came out of northeast Syria yesterday where he witnessed the devastation wreaked by Turkey’s latest airstrikes. He told Al-Monitor that the sense of betrayal by the United States is even deeper than when President Donald Trump gave Turkey the green light to invade large chunks of northeast Syria in 2019.

30 November 2022/Peace in Kurdistan Campaign
I’ve lost the early eighties paper cutting. I’d read the article in a broad sheet,
And, as I had never done before, nor ever since, cut it out and kept it neat.
It so frightened me. I felt so deeply for you,
Yet writing to you in your prison, was all I thought I could do.
Sakine Cansiz, Diyarbakir Prison, Turkey, was my only clue.
