Connor Hayes is an activist, researcher, and independent scholar working in the areas of philosophy, sociology, and political theory. He is a member of the steering committee of the Peace in Kurdistan Campaign, and participated in the 2019 international peace delegation to Imrali.
Topics of discussion include the history of the Turkish state’s genocidal approach to the Kurds, the role of NATO in supporting this war, the significance of the HDP, the global war on terror and efforts to remove the designation of the PKK as a ‘terrorist organisation’, and the history and work of the Peace in Kurdistan Campaign.
