“We could be massacred at anytime“
It has come out that Turkish forces are committing yet another savagery in another basement in Şırnak’s Cizre district where as many as 40 people have taken shelter
As more details are coming out regarding this basement in the Sur neighborhood, it came out that around 20 civilians were massacred as a result of tank strikes aimed at the building several hours ago.
Derya Koç, former co-chair of HDP Milas district branch, who is among those trapped in the mentioned building, has managed to have a short phone talk in which she gave information about the latest situation; “The situation here is very critical. Around 20 people who took shelter in the basement downstairs were burned to death. We are now 20 people left in the building. They (state forces) keep firing on us, which may also result in us burning to death soon. People must come here immediately. The building was targeted by strikes an hour ago, which left the others in the basement dead. We are now 20 people alive, and we are all wounded. The building where we are taking shelter in the Sur neighborhood is now surrounded by tanks. I need to hang up now. There is no network. They are around us.”
The names of the people in the mentioned building, who are all facing a threat of imminent massacre are as follows; Derya Koç, Lokman Bilgiç, Murat Kekin, Sinan Kaya, İbrahim İvrendi, Fırat Malgaz, Orhan Tunç, Meryem Akyol, Mürsel Dalmış, Star Öztürk, Murat Tunç, Abdülselam Turgut, Fatma Demir, Emel Ayhan, Mesut Özer, Abdullah Özgür, Agit Aydın, Barış Gasir, Sahip Edip, and someone by the name of Ferhatwhose surname is not known.
Two days ago 60 civilians were killed using chemical weapons
Two days ago Turkish state forces had been bombing two different buildings that contained wounded civilians; they have killed almost 60 people using chemical weapons. According to reports from Cizre the people were killed by chemical weapons
