When AIPAC pours money into Democratic primary campaigns to defeat pro-Palestinian candidates, they usually succeed. But not in Michigan.
Look around, you’ll find
Some primary elections
That contain distinct outlines
Of an actual selection
Where one side stands
For conquest and greed
And one serves the deep demands
Of human need
You can represent the money
And corporate crime
Or you can represent the many
But not at the same time
Despite all the donations
From the war machine
And all the protestations
Of the silicon ravine
On more and more occasions
Despite the obstacles they face
The ones against the corporations
Win the race

They’ll spend tens of millions
AIPAC often will
To stop the pro Palestinian
Campaigns they want to kill
To stop the ones who
Want housing and health care
For us all, not just a few
Who want peace, not warfare
