Peace in Kurdistan is involved in a collaborative project in which, together, we are trying to envisage what self-determination can and must mean in the 21stcentury. We are interested in making connections between struggles for self-determination around the globe. We take our inspiration from Abdullah Ocalan’s re-articulation of self-determination. Ocalan has emphasised that “the propagation of grass roots democracy is elementary.” We encourage people to send relevant original articles for inclusion in this new series.
