Dear JNP Members and Supporters,
Last night, JNP founder and Steering Group member Prof. Haim Bresheeth was arrested at a Swiss Cottage demonstration which has been demanding the deportation of the Israeli Ambassador for the past year.
P rof. Haim Bresheeth’s arrest is an outrage. His name can be added to a growing list of high profile figures who have had anti-Terror legislation used to harass them for promoting justice for Palestinians and opposing Israeli genocide.
I’ve just spoken to Haim who is now at home. His case is being referred to the Crown Prosecution Service which is a way of prolonging his mental torment.
He understands this and wants everone to know he is feeling resilient in the knowledge that Palestinians are enduring so much worse. He says; ‘they will not break us’
Please take every opportunity to take any action you can to expose the evil that western imperialism is founded on.
