1. 37 Kolbars were killed and wounded in July 2022

At least 37 Kurdish Kolbars and tradesmen were killed and wounded on the borders of Kurdistan in July. These statistics have increased by 16 case (76%) compared to the previous month. Last month, 21 Kolbars and tradesmen had been killed and injured.

The direct firing of security forces is the leading cause of Kolbars’s death. But the choice of dangerous roads to cross the border and get caught in the snow and cold is another factor that has killed many Kolbars.
